Xiaomi has announced a major product launch event on December 25 in China, unveiling the Xiaomi 17 Ultra along with two new accessories, the Xiaomi Watch 5 and Xiaomi Buds 6. The Xiaomi Watch 5 is a flagship smartwatch featuring a stainless steel unibody, sapphire glass, Snapdragon W5 wearable platform, and strap options in stainless steel, brown, and green. It will be the company’s first smartwatch with an EMG sensor in addition to the existing ECG sensor, which detects muscle signals from wrist movements for gesture-based controls.

The Xiaomi Buds 6 are semi-in-ear wireless earbuds available in Pink, White, and Black. They offer CD-level lossless audio, intelligent recording, AI-powered summaries, and real-time translation features. These earbuds improve upon the previous Xiaomi Buds 5 with enhanced sound quality, spatial audio, active noise cancellation, and long battery life.

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra smartphone is teased with a new simultaneous telephoto optical system, low-light photography improvements, and a slim design of 8.29mm thickness. The device will come in Black, White, and a Starry Sky Green finish that incorporates ore particles for a sparkling effect. The launch highlights Xiaomi’s focus on high-end wearables, earbuds, and flagship smartphones for 2025.
