Xiaomi seems to be inching closer to unveiling its next-generation foldable device—the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2. According to recent reports, the anticipated smartphone has surfaced on China’s Compulsory Certification (3C) website, indicating its imminent launch and shedding light on its charging capabilities. The upcoming Mix Flip 2 is expected to maintain the same 67W fast wired charging speed as its predecessor, the Xiaomi Mix Flip, which debuted in July 2024.
The newly spotted device reportedly carries the model number 2505APX7BC and appears compatible with a charger identified as MDY-15-EQ, offering a maximum output of 67W wired charging. Past leaks have also hinted at 50W wireless charging support, an enhancement that makes the phone even more appealing for users who prefer wire-free convenience.
Powering the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 could be the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, making it a flagship-level foldable. The device is likely to sport a 6.85-inch LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution, designed for immersive visuals and smooth scrolling.
In terms of photography, leaks suggest the foldable may feature a dual rear camera setup, including a 50MP main sensor (1/1.5-inch) and a 50MP ultra-wide lens (1/2.76-inch). The 5100mAh battery will likely ensure all-day usage, while additional features may include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and an IPX8-rated design for water resistance.
The Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 is tipped to be just 7.6mm thick when unfolded and weigh approximately 190 grams, making it sleek and portable despite being a foldable powerhouse.
This new model is expected to launch between April and June 2025, offering an upgrade over the Xiaomi Mix Flip, which launched last year with a 4,780mAh battery and a price of CNY 5,999 (around ₹69,000) for the base variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
Stay tuned as Xiaomi prepares to bring this exciting foldable to market, blending powerful internals with elegant design and top-tier charging speeds.
