The Xiaomi Mix Flip, the first clamshell-style foldable phone from the Chinese tech giant, is set to debut in global markets soon. According to a company executive, the highly anticipated smartphone will be available in Eastern Europe starting mid-August. This exciting news comes shortly after the phone’s initial release in China earlier this month, where it was unveiled alongside the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 and the Redmi K70 Ultra.
Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, the Xiaomi Mix Flip boasts a 4.01-inch AMOLED outer screen and a 6.86-inch flexible AMOLED inner display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It runs on HyperOS based on Android 14 and features a dual outer camera setup, including a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 800 primary sensor and a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV60A40 sensor with a telephoto lens offering up to 2x optical zoom. A 32-megapixel front camera is also available for selfies and video calls.
The phone is equipped with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 inbuilt storage. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The Xiaomi Mix Flip is powered by a 4,780mAh battery with 67W fast charging support and features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. The phone measures 167.5 x 74.02 x 16.19mm when folded and weighs 192g.
In terms of pricing, the Xiaomi Mix Flip is set to retail in Europe for BGN 2,600 (approximately Rs. 1,20,800), which is notably higher than the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, priced at EUR 1,200 (around Rs. 1,09,300). In China, the starting price for the base storage model is CNY 5,999 (roughly Rs. 69,300).
