- Keep the minimum balance on your nol card
To access the Metro you must have at least Dhs15 on your nol card to cover a return journey. Without this amount the gates won’t open so always check your balance before queuing. One way fares vary between Dhs3 and Dhs15 depending on the zones and class. When using the ticket machine the minimum top up is Dhs50 but smaller amounts can be added online. - Discover unique features inside Metro stations

You can bring an e scooter on the Metro but it must meet the transport authority’s safety requirements. Scooters must be foldable seatless and fit within 120cm x 70cm x 40cm while weighing under 20kg. Charging scooters inside stations is not allowed and scooters cannot be brought in if wet or dirty.
