The much-awaited Xiaomi 17 Ultra is rumored to be the newest flagship addition to the Xiaomi 17 series, following the Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. Recent leaks suggest that the upcoming smartphone will feature a groundbreaking 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens alongside three powerful 50-megapixel sensors, offering exceptional image clarity and next-level zoom capabilities.

According to reliable tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will use a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, the same high-end chipset seen in the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. The main 50MP camera is expected to come with enhanced ISZ technology for lossless zoom and improved detail capture. The 200MP periscope sensor might include RMSC technology, enabling multiple focal lengths and telephoto macro features that deliver stunning image versatility.

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is tipped to push the limits of mobile photography, featuring advanced optical systems for high dynamic range imaging and improved focus control. Reports indicate that it may debut with a quad-camera layout consisting of one 200MP and three 50MP lenses, combining hardware excellence with Xiaomi’s latest AI-driven image processing.

This smartphone is expected to launch in early 2026, following in the footsteps of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra. The 17 Ultra could deliver major design and performance improvements, including a 6.73-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch response, and peak brightness up to 3200 nits. It may also feature up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB UFS 4.1 storage, ensuring top-tier performance for demanding users.
