The Chinese smartphone maker Realme has officially confirmed the India debut of the GT 8 Pro, scheduled for November 20 at 12 pm IST. The phone first launched in China on October 21, and the Indian variant is expected to carry the same powerful specifications. It is built around Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.1 storage. A dedicated Hyper Vision+ AI chip is also teased.
The display is said to offer a 2K resolution with up to 7,000 nits of peak brightness and a 144 Hz refresh rate. In the camera department, the GT 8 Pro features a triple rear‑camera setup, with swappable modules and imaging tuned by Ricoh GR. The company also promises robust cooling thanks to a vapour‑chamber system covering some 7,000 sq mm.
Under the hood sits a large 7,000 mAh “Titan” battery, supporting 120 W wired fast charging. Realme claims that a 15‑minute charge will deliver “all‑day” power. On the software side, the phone will ship with Android 16‑based Realme UI 7.0, and the build will include an IP69 dust and water resistance rating, a metal frame, and a hole‑punch front camera. The handset weighs around 214 g.
While pricing details for India are yet to be announced, the launch date and headline specs are now clear.
