The Google Pixel Watch 3 is set to be unveiled alongside the Pixel 9 series at the upcoming Made by Google event on August 13. While Google hasn’t officially announced the release, several leaks have provided insights into the new smartwatch’s features and design. Recent reports indicate that the Pixel Watch 3 will be available in two sizes—41mm and 45mm—with up to ten different interchangeable strap options. These include the Active Band, Active Sport Band, Woven Band, Stretch Band, Metal Mesh Band, Metal Links Band, Metal Slim Band, Two-tone Leather Band, Crafted Leather Band, and the Performance Loop Band.
For the 45mm version, the interchangeable bands will be similar, excluding the Stretch Band, Metal Mesh, Metal Slim, and Two-Tone Leather options. The Performance Loop Band is expected to launch later in October for both sizes.
In terms of color options, the 41mm Pixel Watch 3 is likely to feature a Champagne Gold Aluminium case with a Hazel band and a Polished Silver Aluminium case with a Rose Quartz band. The 45mm model might come with a Matte Hazel Aluminium case paired with a Hazel band. Additionally, both sizes are expected to be available in Matte Black Aluminium with an Obsidian band, and Polished Silver Aluminium with a Porcelain band.
The Pixel Watch 3 is rumored to include a Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 SoC and an ultra-wideband (UWB) chip. The 41mm and 45mm variants are said to have 310mAh and 420mAh batteries, respectively, with resolutions of 408 x 408 pixels and 456 x 456 pixels. Enhanced features may also include thinner bezels and peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits. Buyers of the Pixel Watch 3 might also receive six months of free Fitbit Premium support.
