The Egyptian forward, who watched the match from the sidelines for the third consecutive time, expressed deep frustration over what he described as broken promises, deteriorating relationships, and a sense of being “sacrificed” during the team’s poor run of form this season.
Liverpool, last season’s Premier League champions, have endured a difficult start to the 2025–26 campaign, sitting eighth in the table with 22 points from 15 games and suffering six defeats already.
