Adobe has integrated its popular applications Photoshop, Adobe Express, and Acrobat directly within ChatGPT, allowing users to complete tasks without opening the standalone apps. ChatGPT users can now type the app name followed by the task they want performed, unlocking an efficient way to edit images, create designs, or manage PDFs.
Photoshop integration allows text-based adjustments such as cropping, brightness, contrast, exposure, applying effects, or editing specific parts of an image. Adobe Express enables users to explore the design catalogue, insert text, swap images, animate projects, and refine existing designs. Acrobat now provides PDF editing, extracting tables or text, merging and organising files, compressing content, and converting documents into PDF format.
This support is accessible on desktop, web, and iOS versions of ChatGPT, while Android users can currently use Adobe Express, with Photoshop and Acrobat coming soon. The integration is protected with authentication to ensure user credentials remain secure. David Wadhwani, Adobe’s digital media president, highlights that this combination brings creativity and AI accessibility to millions, letting users perform professional editing with simple text prompts inside a familiar platform.
