Samsung is gearing up to release its Galaxy A07 5G smartphone, following a recent appearance on Geekbench with model number SM-A076B. The benchmark listing reveals the device will feature Android 16, 4GB of RAM, and an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor with six cores clocked at 2.0GHz and two cores at 2.4GHz. In Geekbench tests, the Galaxy A07 5G scored 729 points in single-core and 1,878 points in multi-core evaluations.
Previously, the 4G version of Galaxy A07 launched in India in October with a 6.7-inch HD+ display, 5,000mAh battery, MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, dual rear cameras, and a 90Hz refresh rate. The 5G variant is expected to bring enhanced connectivity and performance while retaining the brand’s familiar design and features. Samsung has also listed the device on Bluetooth SIG certification, hinting at a launch soon in multiple countries including the US, Spain, and New Zealand.
The upcoming Galaxy A07 5G is designed to appeal to budget-conscious users looking for 5G connectivity, reliable battery life, and smooth performance for daily tasks. With previous Galaxy A series models supporting six major OS upgrades and six years of security updates, this new device is expected to continue Samsung’s promise of long-term software support. Colours are expected to include Black Green and Light Violet, while the phone retains a sturdy IP54-rated build with fast charging support.
