Samsung Electronics is reportedly in talks with AMD to manufacture next-generation chipsets using an advanced 2nm process, signaling a potential shift in the semiconductor landscape. According to industry reports, the collaboration could be finalized as early as January 2026, with Samsung’s foundry division producing prototype chips designed by AMD. Sources suggest that Samsung plans to use its second-generation 2nm fabrication technology, known as SF2P, to create these chips.
