iQOO has confirmed that its new flagship smartphone, the iQOO 15 Ultra, will launch in China before the Spring Festival, scheduled to begin on February 17, 2026. Positioned above the iQOO 15 in the company’s premium lineup, the Ultra model promises ultra-performance features tailored for gaming enthusiasts.
According to leaks and early reports, the iQOO 15 Ultra is expected to sport a 6.85-inch 2K LTPO OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, likely sourced from Samsung. The handset is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, codenamed SMM8850, delivering top-tier performance for gaming and multimedia. The device may feature an advanced active cooling system with a built-in fan and shoulder triggers to enhance the gaming experience.
Camera upgrades may include a periscope telephoto lens with a 50-megapixel sensor, 0.8-micrometre pixel size, and a 1/1.95-inch sensor, ensuring high-quality imaging. Additionally, the iQOO 15 Ultra is anticipated to support wireless charging and offer IP68 dust and water resistance.
