Brad Pitt recently welcomed his close friend and co-star from “Wolfs,” George Clooney, to his cherished Château Miraval in France for a GQ photoshoot. The reunion comes at a time when Pitt is entangled in a legal dispute with his ex-wife, Angelina Jolie, over ownership of the winery.
The photoshoot, captured by Norwegian photographer Solve Sundsbo, showcases Pitt and Clooney dressed in coordinated white outfits. The duo is seen posing in a pool and riding a motorcycle with a sidecar around the stunning estate.
Clooney arrived at the winery in a sleek black Mercedes convertible and humorously shared with GQ that he had never visited the property before, despite living just a short drive away for the past two years.
During the shoot, Clooney’s wife, Amal, along with their twin children, Alexander and Ella, made a brief visit. As they explored the expansive estate, Amal expressed her admiration for the property, while their children marveled at its size. Pitt, ever the hospitable host, engaged with the seven-year-old twins, asking if they liked animals and mentioning that the estate is home to various animals, including donkeys, bunnies, and mini-horses.
In his conversation with GQ, Pitt reflected on the sense of peace and contentment he finds at Château Miraval. He spoke about the simple joys of life at the estate, from the fresh air to the lush green grass, and how it has brought him closer to the people he loves.
Pitt and Jolie acquired the sprawling 1,200-acre winery in 2011, during their marriage. However, following their 2015 divorce, the estate became a significant point of contention. In 2021, Pitt initiated legal action against Jolie after she sold her stake in the property to the Stoli Group without his consent. Jolie later countered with allegations that Pitt had misused the estate’s funds for personal projects, including spending over $1 million on renovations for a swimming pool that he exclusively uses.
