Motorola is gearing up to launch the Motorola Signature in India on January 23, and fresh pricing details have emerged ahead of the official announcement. The smartphone is expected to go on sale exclusively via Flipkart and will be available in two stylish colour options: Pantone Martini Olive and Pantone Carbon. The latest leaks suggest the device will offer high-end specifications at a price point lower than previously reported.
According to industry tipster Sanju Choudhary, the Motorola Signature could start at Rs. 64,999 for the base model with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, while the top-tier version with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage could be priced at Rs. 69,999. This pricing is considerably lower than earlier rumours that suggested a top-end price of Rs. 84,999. The new details are based on a dedicated microsite that has been launched on the e-commerce platform, teasing the phone’s key features and specifications.
The Motorola Signature is said to pack a robust 5,200mAh battery and will be powered by an unspecified Snapdragon 8 series chipset. It is expected to offer up to 16GB RAM and 1TB internal storage. The smartphone will also feature Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and sound tuning by Bose, aiming to deliver a premium multimedia experience.
Camera specifications are equally impressive, with the device expected to come equipped with a triple rear camera setup led by a 50MP Sony LYT-828 primary sensor. The phone will support 3.5x optical zoom and is likely to feature an aluminium frame for enhanced durability. Motorola has confirmed that the device will be 6.99mm thick and will weigh approximately 186g, making it sleek and lightweight.
The Motorola Signature is expected to run on Android 16-based Hello UI and is likely to feature a 6.8-inch Super HD LTPO AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, 450 ppi pixel density, and up to 6,200 nits peak brightness. The device is believed to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, built on a 3nm manufacturing process, ensuring strong performance and energy efficiency.
