Realme 16 5G Debuts With Massive 7000mAh Battery and Dimensity 6400 Turbo Chipset

Realme has officially unveiled the Realme 16 5G in Vietnam, expanding its mid premium smartphone lineup with a strong focus on performance battery life and display quality. The new handset is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Turbo processor and is expected to launch in additional global markets in the near future.

The Realme 16 5G comes with a large 6.57 inch flexible AMOLED display offering Full HD plus resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. With high peak brightness and a slim bezel design the phone delivers an immersive viewing experience suitable for gaming streaming and everyday use. The screen is protected by DT Star D plus glass and supports a high touch sampling rate for responsive interactions.

Under the hood the smartphone features an octa core Dimensity 6400 Turbo SoC paired with up to 12GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. This setup ensures efficient multitasking reliable gaming performance and smooth system navigation on Android 16 with Realme UI 7.0.

In the camera department the Realme 16 5G is equipped with a dual rear camera system led by a 50 megapixel primary sensor with autofocus along with a 2 megapixel monochrome lens. For selfies and video calls the device features a high resolution 50 megapixel front camera. Users also get access to multiple shooting modes including Night Portrait Cinematic Slow Motion and Dual View Video.

One of the biggest highlights of the Realme 16 5G is its huge 7000mAh battery which supports 60W wired fast charging and reverse charging. Despite the large battery the phone maintains a slim profile and lightweight build. It also comes with advanced durability ratings including IP66 IP68 IP69 and IP69K for dust and water resistance.

The Realme 16 5G is available in Black Cloud and White Swan colour options. Pricing in Vietnam starts at VND 11,490,000 for the 8GB RAM variant while the higher 12GB RAM model is priced at VND 12,490,000. Realme has not yet confirmed its availability in India or other regions.
