The Realme GT 7 Pro has become a hot topic of discussion as multiple leaks about the upcoming smartphone have started appearing online. Expected to follow in the footsteps of the Realme GT 5 Pro, which was introduced in China in December 2023, the new handset is anticipated to launch later this year. A fresh leak has hinted at the possible launch timeframe for the Realme GT 7 Pro while also revealing several key specifications including details on the processor display camera battery charging capabilities and overall build of the device.
Anticipated Launch of Realme GT 7 Pro
According to a post by tipster Abhishek Yadav on platform X, the Realme GT 7 Pro is likely to be launched in November or December of this year. However, the post did not clarify whether this launch timeline refers to the Chinese market a global release or an India-specific launch. Based on previous patterns, it is likely that the smartphone will debut in China first before making its way to global markets including India. Despite the Realme GT 5 Pro not being released in India Realme has confirmed earlier this year that the GT 7 Pro will indeed be launched in the country.
Expected Features and Specifications of Realme GT 7 Pro
The Realme GT 7 Pro is rumored to feature a 6.78-inch BOE X2 micro quad curved AMOLED LTPO display with a resolution of 1.5K a refresh rate of 120Hz and protection provided by Gorilla Glass Victus 2 or Oppo Crystal Armour glass. It is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 internal storage. The device is also tipped to run on Realme UI based on Android 15.
In terms of camera setup the Realme GT 7 Pro is likely to boast a triple rear camera configuration with a 50-megapixel primary sensor equipped with optical image stabilization (OIS) a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 50-megapixel sensor with 3x periscope zoom. On the front the device might include a 32-megapixel camera for selfies. Additionally, the smartphone is rumored to be backed by a 6100mAh battery with support for 120W wired fast charging and an IP68-rated build for water and dust resistance. The Realme GT 7 Pro is also expected to feature an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor from Goodix.
