Tickets Now Available for Emirates Sail Grand Prix in Dubai

Date:

Sea and sport enthusiasts can rejoice as the Emirates Sail Grand Prix is making its way to Dubai, with tickets now available. This event, presented by P&O Marinas, will be held at Mina Rashid in Dubai on November 23 and 24, promising an exhilarating experience.

The SailGP 2024/2025 season, also taking place in Brazil, Germany, Switzerland, Great Britain, and Auckland, features 11 national teams competing fiercely for a strong start to the season. This is a chance to witness one of the world’s most thrilling water races up close, with live music, excellent hospitality, and post-race activities, offering more than just a sports spectacle but an engaging sea vibe.

The Dubai Sail Grand Prix will see elite athletes, including Olympic gold medalists, battling in high-speed hydro-foiling F50 catamarans. These F50s, unique to SailGP and valued at around $5 million (approximately AED 18 million), can reach speeds of up to 100 kmph due to their advanced hydrofoil technology, a stark contrast to leisure catamarans that cruise at around 22 kmph.

This season is notable for the debut of the Mubadala Brazil SailGP team, with Olympic Gold medalist Martine Grael making history as the first woman to drive in SailGP.
