According to Dr Shubham Vatsya a gastroenterologist and hepatologist with over a decade of experience cloves can support gut health reduce inflammation and ease acidity when taken correctly.
Rich in antioxidants and bioactive compounds cloves contain eugenol a compound known for its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. Dr Vatsya explains that eugenol may help combat harmful bacteria such as H pylori which is linked to ulcers and chronic acidity.
