Cristiano Ronaldo received a special GOAT jersey from Al Nassr in recognition of his remarkable achievement of scoring 900 goals. During the recent international break, Ronaldo made history by scoring his 900th goal in Portugal’s Nations League match against Croatia. Returning to his Saudi Pro League club, Al Nassr, Ronaldo was presented with a special ‘GOAT’ jersey featuring the number 900 on the back.
The presentation took place on Friday before the kick-off of Al Nassr’s match against Al Ahli. A tifo displayed messages such as ‘900 goals’ and ‘Only heroes achieve glory’ to honor Ronaldo’s milestone.
In the Nations League match against Croatia, Ronaldo scored the winning goal as a second-half substitute. With the score tied at 1-1 in the 88th minute, Nuno Mendes crossed the ball, which deflected off Diogo Jota’s foot and landed perfectly for Ronaldo to secure a 2-1 victory.
Portugal currently leads League A Group 1 with six points, having already defeated Croatia in their first match. Croatia is in second place with three points, while Scotland has lost both matches, conceding late goals in each.
Off the field, Ronaldo recently broke another record by becoming the first individual to reach one billion followers across all social media platforms. He expressed his gratitude on X, stating, “We’ve made history — 1 BILLION followers! This represents more than just a number; it signifies our shared passion, drive, and love for the game and beyond. From the streets of Madeira to the biggest stages in the world, I’ve always played for my family and for you, and now one billion of us stand together.
You’ve supported me through all the highs and lows. This journey is our journey, and together, we’ve shown that there are no limits to what we can achieve.
