Diljit Dosanjh ‘Likes’ Video by Saloni Gaur Teasing Fans Over High Concert Ticket Prices

Date:

Social media influencer Saloni Gaur has recently advised fans to invest in shoes worth ₹10,000 instead of purchasing expensive concert tickets for Diljit Dosanjh’s Dil-Luminati Tour. Many fans were unable to secure tickets for the India leg of the tour, which sold out within minutes. Social media users have also criticized the high prices of the tickets. In response, Saloni Gaur posted a video mocking those who complained about the ticket costs.

Diljit Dosanjh’s Dil-Luminati India Tour is set to commence on October 26. In her video, Saloni plays two characters, one who supports attending concerts and another who does not. The video starts with “advice to this generation” to spend money wisely, highlighting how some people are buying costly tickets worth ₹10,000 to attend a concert where the performer might appear ant-sized from distant seats.

Saloni humorously suggested that fans should buy shoes worth ₹10,000 and travel anywhere else instead of attending the show. She noted that one could listen to music on their phone at home where outside food and water are allowed, taking a dig at concert restrictions. She further mentioned the downsides of attending concerts, suggesting it is better to avoid them.

The character opposing concerts responded to the pro-concert character by accusing her of not getting a ticket due to the sell-out. She maintained that she could have secured a ticket but chose not to try. The video ends with the pro-concert character offering an extra ticket, which causes the other character to react with surprise. The clip concludes with Saloni wiping her eyes as Harrdy Sandhu’s Joker plays in the background. She captioned the post, “Itna bhi kuch miss nahin ho jayega” (I won’t miss much), with a smiling tear emoji. Diljit Dosanjh reacted to the post by liking it.

Diljit’s Dil-Luminati India Tour will begin in New Delhi on October 26 and include performances in Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune, Kolkata, and other cities, concluding in Guwahati on December 29. Ticket prices ranged from ₹1,499 to ₹25,000.
