Motorola Unveils Razr Fold With Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 at MWC 2026 Alongside Edge 70 Fusion

Motorola has expanded its premium smartphone lineup at MWC 2026 with the launch of the all-new Motorola Razr Fold and the powerful Motorola Edge 70 Fusion. The Razr Fold marks the brand’s first book-style foldable device, powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and packed with top-tier specifications. Meanwhile, the Edge 70 Fusion targets performance-focused users with a high-refresh-rate display and a large battery.

Motorola Razr Fold: Price and Availability

The Motorola Razr Fold will roll out in selected regions across Latin America North America Europe the Middle East and Asia Pacific in the coming months. In Europe, the foldable is priced at EUR 1999 and comes bundled with the Moto Pen Ultra. It is available in Pantone Blackened Blue and Pantone Lily White color options.

Additionally, Motorola introduced a special FIFA World Cup 26 Collection edition featuring football-inspired design details textured finish and premium 24K gold-plated accents.

Motorola Razr Fold: Specifications and Features

The Razr Fold runs on Android 16 based My UX and supports dual SIM functionality including physical SIM and eSIM. It sports a 6.6-inch LTPO pOLED cover display with 165Hz refresh rate 21:9 aspect ratio and peak brightness of 6000 nits protected by Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3.

When unfolded, users get a large 8.1-inch LTPO pOLED inner display with 2K resolution 120Hz refresh rate and Ultra Thin Glass protection delivering an immersive viewing experience.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor paired with Adreno A829 GPU up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage. Motorola also promises up to seven Android OS upgrades and seven years of security updates ensuring long-term support.

In the camera department, the Razr Fold houses a triple rear camera system featuring:

  • 50MP Sony LYTIA primary sensor
  • 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom
  • 50MP ultra-wide sensor

For selfies, it includes a 32MP front camera on the cover screen and a 20MP inner display camera. The phone supports video recording up to 8K at 30fps and 4K at 60fps.

The device includes dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support and multiple advanced sensors. Connectivity features include 5G LTE Wi-Fi 7 NFC GPS GLONASS Galileo QZSS BeiDou NavIC and USB Type-C. It carries an IP49 rating.

Powering the foldable is a massive 6000mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging support. The handset measures 4.7mm thin when open and weighs 243g.

Motorola Edge 70 Fusion: Specifications and Features

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion features a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 5200 nits protected by Gorilla Glass 7i.

It runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor and carries IP69 and IP68 ratings along with MIL-STD-810H certification for durability.

The rear camera setup includes:

  • 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 sensor with OIS
  • 13MP ultra-wide lens
  • Macro lens with 122-degree field of view

On the front, the device offers a 32MP selfie camera. It is equipped with dual stereo speakers supporting Hi-Res Audio and Dolby Atmos.

The Edge 70 Fusion is backed by a 5200mAh battery with 68W fast charging. Pricing details are yet to be officially announced, though availability is confirmed for select markets in Latin America EMEA and Asia Pacific.
