Poco appears ready to expand its smartphone portfolio in India as the Poco X8 Series and the Poco C85x 5G have surfaced on Flipkart through dedicated teaser pages. The listings suggest that an official launch could take place later this month with availability likely to follow shortly after.
The teaser imagery reveals a handset from the Poco X8 lineup featuring a flat frame and a vertically arranged dual rear camera setup. The rear panel appears to have a matte finish with subtle branding at the bottom. Both the Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max are expected to debut in mid March according to early reports.
Leaked performance details indicate that a test unit of the Pro Max variant achieved an impressive AnTuTu benchmark score of over 36 lakh hinting at flagship grade performance. The Poco X8 Pro is tipped to feature a 6.59 inch 1.5K resolution OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra processor. It may include a 50 megapixel primary rear camera and a 6500mAh battery supported by 100W fast charging.
Meanwhile the Poco X8 Pro Max could raise the bar with a larger 6.83 inch 1.5K OLED screen and a MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset. Camera capabilities may include a 50 megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilisation while battery capacity is rumoured to reach 8500mAh offering extended usage on a single charge. Both models are likely to launch in black white and turquoise colour options with the Pro Max possibly sporting slightly larger camera rings.
Alongside the X8 lineup Poco has also teased the Poco C85x 5G on Flipkart. The device appears with a pill shaped vertically aligned dual camera module positioned in the top left corner. Promotional hints point towards a slim profile combined with a large silicon carbon battery and optimised charging support.
For context Poco previously introduced the Poco C85 5G in India in December 2025 featuring a 6000mAh battery 33W wired charging MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and a 6.9 inch 120Hz HD plus display. The new C85x 5G is expected to build upon this foundation with upgraded features and 5G connectivity enhancements.
With official teasers now live industry watchers anticipate launch confirmations from Poco in the coming days.
