The upcoming Poco X8 Pro 5G and Poco X8 Pro Max 5G are set to launch in India later today, but key pricing details and storage variants have already surfaced online just hours before the official unveiling.
According to leaks shared by tipster Paras Guglani, the Poco X8 Pro 5G is expected to be priced at Rs 33999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version, while the 12GB RAM variant with the same storage could be available for Rs 37999.
Meanwhile, the higher end Poco X8 Pro Max 5G is likely to start at Rs 41999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage option. The top variant featuring 12GB RAM and 512GB storage may be priced at Rs 45999 in India.
The smartphones will be introduced by Poco and are expected to go on sale via Flipkart shortly after launch.
Reports also suggest that the company could unveil a special Iron Man Edition of the Poco X8 Pro 5G which may carry a price tag of around Rs 43999. Introductory bank discounts of up to Rs 3000 are also expected on select variants although official confirmation is still awaited.
In terms of specifications, the Poco X8 Pro 5G is said to feature a large 6500mAh battery while the Pro Max variant could pack an even bigger 9000mAh battery offering extended usage. Both devices are expected to support 100W fast wired charging and the Pro Max model may additionally support reverse wired charging.
Performance wise the Poco X8 Pro Max 5G is expected to be powered by a 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset while the standard Pro model may run on the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra processor.
Both smartphones are likely to feature dual rear camera setups with a 50 megapixel primary sensor leading the system. The official launch event is scheduled for 5 30 pm IST where all specifications pricing and availability details will be confirmed.
