Oppo Find X8 Series Nears Launch, Appears on Certification Sites Including BIS and IMDA

Oppo Find X8 Pro Spotted on Various Certification Platforms
The Oppo Find X8 series is expected to debut in China next month. Although Oppo has yet to announce any details about the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro, these devices have reportedly appeared on several certification platforms. The Oppo Find X8 Pro has received certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), hinting at its availability in India and other markets. The Oppo Find X8 series has also allegedly surfaced on Indonesia’s Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), EEC, and SGS Fimko websites.
Oppo Find X8 Pro Spotted on Various Certification Platforms
According to GizmoChina, an Oppo phone listed on the BIS website under the model number CPH2659 is believed to be the Find X8 Pro. While the BIS certification site does not provide specific details about the phone, screenshots shared by the publication suggest that the certification was granted on September 12.
In addition to the BIS certification, the model number CPH2659 has been identified on the NBTC, EEC, SGS Fimko, and IMDA websites, as reported by MySmartPrice. The NBTC certification allegedly confirms the device’s name, while the SGS Fimko listing reveals that the handset will support 80W fast charging.
The Oppo Find X8, with the model number CPH2651, has also reportedly obtained certifications from IMDA and EEC. These listings confirm the device’s name and suggest that it will feature 5G, Bluetooth, NFC, eSIM, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
Meanwhile, the Oppo Find X8 Pro has purportedly appeared on the Camera FV-5 database. Reports indicate it will feature a 23.8mm equivalent focal length with an f/1.6 aperture, alongside a 12.6-megapixel sensor that may be marketed as a 50-megapixel sensor with pixel binning. Photos captured with this sensor could have a maximum resolution of 4096×3072 and support 1x magnification. The device is also expected to offer a manual mode.
