In an interview, Rodri acknowledged his connection to Spanish football, stating that a return to La Liga remains a possibility in the future. When asked specifically about joining Real Madrid, he suggested that opportunities with top clubs are difficult to ignore.
He also praised the atmosphere at the Santiago Bernabeu, describing it as one of the most impressive stadiums in world football, highlighting the passion of its supporters.
Despite the transfer speculation, Rodri emphasised that he remains content at Manchester City for now. He described the Premier League as highly competitive and physically demanding, noting that it continues to challenge him at the highest level.
