BTS Jin has shocked fans by removing his hit single ‘Super Tuna’ from music streaming platforms. Despite the song’s massive success with millions of streams, the K-pop idol decided to take down the goofy track, originally released in 2021. However, fans have reason to celebrate as Jin released an extended version of the song shortly after.
The decision left fans in disbelief, as ‘Super Tuna’ had accumulated over 136 million streams. The song, released as a birthday gift to fans and a tribute to Jin’s love for fishing, quickly became one of his most popular tracks. As reported by Koreaboo, the new extended version of ‘Super Tuna’ has already made waves, topping the US charts.
Jin, affectionately known as World Wide Handsome by fans, announced the release of the new version during a live stream on Weverse on October 10. The live stream was held to celebrate his bandmate Jimin’s upcoming birthday on September 13. The extended version of ‘Super Tuna’ was officially released on October 11, and ARMYs have ensured it received the same love and support as the original, propelling it to debut at #1 on the worldwide iTunes US chart.
