Ingredients for 2 Servings:

  • 1 liter of milk
  • 1/4 cup of jaggery
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cardamom powder
  • Pulp of 1 sitaphal (custard apple)
  • Kadhai (a deep cooking pot)

Garnishing Ingredients:

  • Rose petals
  • Slivered pistachios
  • Silver vark (silver leaf)
  • Saffron milk

Method:

  1. Boil the milk in a kadhai. Once it boils, lower the flame and let it simmer until it reduces to half, stirring occasionally.
  2. Add cardamom powder, jaggery, and sitaphal pulp to the reduced milk. Mix well, and once the jaggery melts, remove from flame and let it cool.
  3. Garnish with saffron milk, rose petals, slivered pistachios, and silver vark. Serve chilled and enjoy!
