Oppo has officially teased key camera upgrades for its upcoming flagship smartphone, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra, while fresh details have surfaced through a regulatory listing. The device is expected to launch simultaneously in China and international markets, signaling a strong global push by the brand.
The biggest highlight of the Oppo Find X9 Ultra is its advanced camera system developed in collaboration with Hasselblad. The smartphone is set to feature a powerful dual 200-megapixel camera setup, including a primary ultra-sensing sensor designed to capture significantly more light, delivering enhanced low-light photography. The company claims improved light intake compared to its predecessor, promising better clarity and detail.
For zoom photography, the device is expected to include a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 10x optical zoom, offering a focal length equivalent to 230mm. Additionally, a 200-megapixel 3x telephoto sensor is said to enhance portrait shots with improved lighting performance. The ultra-wide camera will likely feature a 50-megapixel sensor, also optimized for better light sensitivity.
On the front, users can expect a 50-megapixel selfie camera with a larger sensor, designed to deliver sharper and more detailed self-portraits. Oppo has also introduced a new “True Color Camera” system, which is claimed to significantly boost color accuracy and light sensitivity across all lenses.

Under the hood, the device could be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.1 storage for top-tier performance. The smartphone is rumored to house a massive 7,050mAh battery with support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
The phone is likely to run on Android 16-based ColorOS 16 and may be available in multiple configurations, going up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. The top variant could also support satellite connectivity and may come bundled with a special photography kit.
