Vivo is preparing to introduce its next mid-range smartphone, the Vivo Y600 Pro, which has already generated attention due to its unusually large battery capacity and refreshed design. The company has confirmed that the device will arrive soon, although an exact launch date has not yet been announced.
Early teasers reveal that the Vivo Y600 Pro will pack a massive 10,000mAh battery, making it one of the biggest batteries seen in a mainstream smartphone. This upgrade is expected to significantly improve battery life, appealing to users who prioritize long usage without frequent charging.
In terms of design, the handset is expected to follow a similar aesthetic to its predecessor, the Vivo Y500 Pro, featuring a circular rear camera module. The new model will reportedly include a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, paired with an LED flash. While this marks a reduction compared to the 200-megapixel camera found on the Vivo Y500 Pro, the company is expected to focus on improved lens quality and optimized imaging performance.
The smartphone is also expected to feature a flat rear panel with a sleek finish, along with a flat frame design. Physical buttons, including the power button and volume controls, are likely positioned on the right side, while the left side remains minimal. The device has been teased in a purple colour variant with a distinctive gold-accented camera ring, adding a premium touch to its overall appearance.
Although full specifications are yet to be revealed, the Vivo Y600 Pro is expected to build upon the performance and features of its predecessor. For reference, the Vivo Y500 Pro offered a high-refresh-rate OLED display, a MediaTek chipset, and multiple RAM and storage configurations.
With a focus on battery endurance, modern design, and essential camera capabilities, the upcoming release is likely to attract users looking for a reliable everyday smartphone with extended power backup.
