Dubai’s Rock Festival From The Oyster Comes The Pearl Extends Early Bird Ticket Sales for Big November Event

Date:

Attention rock music enthusiasts in Dubai! Get ready for an unforgettable experience as four major bands are set to take the stage on the same day at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium for the much-anticipated festival, From The Oyster Comes The Pearl. This exciting event is scheduled for Saturday, November 23, 2024.

Headlining the festival is the iconic English goth band The Mission, making their debut performance in the Middle East. With a career spanning back to 1986, The Mission has built a dedicated following in the gothic rock scene, boasting 13 UK Top 40 singles. The band will be performing as part of their final show of 2024, so fans won’t want to miss this opportunity.

Early bird tickets are currently priced at Dhs199 and have been extended until Monday, October 28, at 3 AM. After that, ticket prices will start at Dhs249, so act fast to secure your spot at this epic rock festival.

The festival draws its name from one of The Mission’s beloved songs, From The Oyster Comes The Pearl. After this performance, the band plans to focus on recording a new album to celebrate their 40th anniversary in 2025, meaning this could be your last chance to see them live for a while.

Joining The Mission on stage will be three other renowned rock bands, ensuring a diverse lineup for all music lovers. English post-punk legends The Chameleons will perform tracks from their extensive catalog, which has been captivating audiences since 1981. Known for their anthemic sound, The Chameleons will bring their high-energy show following a successful tour in North America.

Also taking the stage is the alt-rock band Claytown Troupe, known for their previous support for heavyweights like Pearl Jam and Ozzy Osbourne. After a decade-long hiatus, this performance marks their long-awaited comeback.

Rounding out the lineup is the English post-punk group IST IST, fresh off a sold-out European tour. With their latest album Light A Bigger Fire receiving rave reviews, IST IST promises an intense live performance as they make their Middle Eastern debut.

Early bird tickets are available now on PlatinumList, with various options including regular standing, VIP standing, super fan standing, and seating. Some ticket packages even include a chance to meet the bands.
