The upcoming Oppo Reno 16 series is gaining momentum as new certification listings hint at an imminent global rollout. The Oppo Reno 16 Pro has recently appeared on multiple regulatory platforms, including the UAE’s TDRA and TÜV Rheinland, while the Reno 16F has been spotted on Thailand’s NBTC database. These developments strongly suggest that Oppo is preparing to introduce its next-generation Reno lineup beyond China in the near future.
According to certification records, the Oppo Reno 16 Pro is listed with the model number CPH2859. The presence on TDRA confirms support for modern network standards, including 5G connectivity, indicating the device will cater to high-speed mobile users. Meanwhile, the Reno 16F has also surfaced with similar network compatibility, further expanding the upcoming Reno portfolio.
Although these listings do not provide full specifications, they confirm that both smartphones are being readied for international markets, including regions such as the UAE and Southeast Asia. Additional appearances on platforms like the European EEC and TÜV Rheinland indicate compliance with global safety and performance standards.
Reports suggest that the Reno 16 Pro could feature a large 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor, delivering strong performance for multitasking and gaming.
Battery capacity is rumored to be a standout feature, with the device possibly packing a massive 7000mAh unit supported by 80W fast wired charging, along with wireless charging capabilities. In terms of photography, the Reno 16 Pro is anticipated to include a high-resolution 200MP main camera with optical image stabilization for improved clarity and stability.
Further leaks indicate that Oppo may offer multiple storage configurations, including a high-end 12GB RAM and 512GB storage variant. There are also hints of an additional Reno model in development, potentially featuring a slightly smaller display and different storage options.
Oppo is expected to officially launch the Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro in China first, with global availability likely to follow soon after. With strong specifications and growing certification visibility, the Reno 16 series is shaping up to be a competitive contender in the premium smartphone segment.
