Date:

The highly anticipated second season of “Andor,” a Star Wars spin-off series featuring Diego Luna in the lead role, is set to premiere on Disney+ on April 22, 2025, according to an announcement from the streaming service. The news was shared via an Instagram post on Saturday evening, accompanied by a poster of the series.

The upcoming season will consist of 12 episodes and will be structured into four-year arcs, with each three-episode arc covering several consecutive days within different years. These arcs will ultimately lead up to the events of “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.”

Created by Tony Gilroy, the first season, which premiered in September 2022, was praised for its mature storytelling, intricate character development, and its exploration of the darker, more complex aspects of rebellion.
