Acer Unveils Predator Helios Neo 16 AI and Helios Neo 18 AI Gaming Laptops with Nvidia RTX 50 Series GPUs

Acer has introduced the latest Predator Helios Neo 16 AI and Helios Neo 18 AI gaming laptops, featuring cutting-edge Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards.

Price and Availability of Predator Helios Neo 16 AI and Helios Neo 18 AI

Acer’s newly launched Predator Helios Neo 16 AI starts at $1,899.99 (approximately Rs. 1,66,400) or EUR 1,699 (about Rs. 1,54,300). The model will be available in North America in April and in EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) in May.

Meanwhile, the Predator Helios Neo 18 AI starts at $2,199.99 (approximately Rs. 1,92,700) or EUR 1,799 (around Rs. 1,63,400). It is set to launch in North America in May and in EMEA regions in June.

Acer has stated that specifications, pricing, and availability will differ depending on the region. The release of these models in India has not yet been confirmed.

Specifications and Features of Predator Helios Neo 16 AI and Helios Neo 18 AI

The Predator Helios Neo 16 AI offers display options of either OLED or IPS with WQXGA (2560×1600) resolution, a maximum refresh rate of 240Hz, up to 500 nits of peak brightness, and Nvidia’s Advanced Optimus technology. The Predator Helios Neo 18 AI, on the other hand, features an 18-inch Mini LED WQXGA screen with a 250Hz refresh rate or an 18-inch LED WQXGA display with up to 240Hz refresh rate and 500 nits of peak brightness.

Both gaming laptops are powered by either Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX or Core Ultra 7 255HX processors. GPU options include Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti or RTX 5070. They operate on Windows 11 Home and can be configured with up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM and up to 2TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage.

To maintain performance, Acer has integrated 5th Gen AeroBlade 3D fans, liquid metal thermal grease, and vector heat pipes. The laptops also come with Experience Zone 2.0, Acer PurifiedView 2.0, PurifiedVoice 2.0, and ProCam support. Additionally, Acer includes a 3-month free subscription to Xbox Game Pass for PC.

Battery, Connectivity, and Design

Each of the models carries a 90Wh battery, DTS X:Ultra-backed dual speakers, and full-HD IR webcams. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 6E, Intel’s Killer Ethernet, and Bluetooth 5.3 or later. Port selections include Thunderbolt 4 Type-C, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, dual USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, HDMI 2.1, a microSD Card reader, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Regarding dimensions, the Predator Helios Neo 16 AI measures 356.78 x 275.5 x 26.75mm, while the Predator Helios Neo 18 AI has a size of 400.96 x 307.9 x 28mm. The laptops weigh 2.7kg and 3.3kg, respectively.
