Vivo V50 India Launch Confirmed for February 17 with AI-Powered Features and 50MP Cameras

Vivo has officially announced that the Vivo V50 will be launched in India on February 17 at 12pm IST. The phone will be available for purchase on Flipkart, Amazon, and the Vivo India e-store. Teasers have revealed the design and colour options of the phone, which will be offered in Rose Red, Starry Blue, and Titanium Grey. The Vivo V50 will be equipped with a range of AI-powered features including Circle to Search, Transcript Assist, and Live Call Translation, along with advanced photo editing tools like Erase 2.0 and Light Portrait 2.0.

The device will come with a quad-curved display and pack a 6,000mAh battery. It will support 90W wired fast charging, making it one of the most efficient smartphones in its category. Vivo claims that it will be the slimmest device in its segment with this impressive battery size, at just 7.39mm thick. Additionally, the Vivo V50 will meet IP68 and IP69 ratings, ensuring resistance to dust and water.

The camera setup on the Vivo V50 will feature a dual rear camera unit with a 50MP primary sensor that supports Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a 50MP ultrawide lens. The front camera will also boast a 50MP sensor for high-quality selfies and video calls. On the software front, the device will run Android 15-based FuntouchOS 15, and is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC. It will be available in a 12GB RAM and 512GB storage variant and is expected to offer up to 12GB of virtual RAM expansion.
