As per a report from The Hollywood Reporter, Citadel Season 2 was originally set for release this year, but Amazon MGM has decided to push the debut to 2026. The report further states that all spin-offs linked to the Citadel universe are currently on hold, with their release hinging on the second season’s completion. Some of these projects may even be canceled indefinitely, depending on the final outcome of Season 2.

The first season of Citadel, which premiered on April 28, 2023, starred Priyanka Chopra as Nadia Sinh alongside Richard Madden as Mason Kane.
