Poco is gearing up to launch a new smartphone under its F-series lineup in India, and the latest development points toward an imminent debut of the Poco F7. A new Poco handset with model number 25053PC47I has been reportedly spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, hinting at its soon-to-be-official release in the Indian market. This model number suggests the phone may launch in May 2025.
The Poco F7 is speculated to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, expected to go official in China soon. With the BIS listing now reportedly live, it appears that Poco is ready to bring the F7 to Indian consumers in the coming weeks. However, the BIS entry does not include any detailed specifications, keeping the exact features under wraps for now.
Based on leaks and previous reports, the Poco F7 is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, offering top-tier performance. It may sport a 1.5K resolution display and a premium build with a glass back and a metallic mid-frame for added durability. Rumors also suggest the phone will be equipped with a 7,550mAh battery and could support 90W fast charging, making it one of the most powerful contenders in its segment.
The Poco F7 will join the already released Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra, both of which were launched globally last month. The F7 Pro features a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and houses a 6,000mAh battery, while the Ultra variant is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC with a 5,300mAh cell. Both models offer a 6.67-inch WQHD+ display and come equipped with a 50MP Light Fusion 800 primary rear camera sensor.
Pricing details for the standard Poco F7 haven’t been confirmed yet, but considering the F7 Pro starts at $449 (approximately ₹38,000) and the Ultra at $599 (around ₹51,000), the base F7 model is expected to fall somewhere between the two.
Stay tuned for an official announcement from Poco, expected soon
