Dubai’s culinary scene has a new breakfast hotspot as Chef Reif Othman introduces a unique Japanese-style breakfast at Nama Yoso in Mirdif Avenue Mall. Available from Friday to Sunday between 9am and 4pm, this innovative menu combines traditional Japanese flavors with beloved breakfast classics, offering diners a fresh and exciting morning dining experience.
Known for his creative approach to Japanese cuisine, Othman has crafted a breakfast menu that reimagines familiar dishes with a contemporary twist. Among the standout offerings is the avocado toast, enhanced with tangy yuzu juice, creamy feta cheese, and shiso chimichurri dressing. For those seeking a heartier option, the black croissant burger is a must-try. This decadent dish features a juicy wagyu patty, crispy bacon, melted cheddar, and a perfectly cooked sunny-side-up egg, all encased in a jet-black croissant.
Another highlight of the menu is the French toast crème brûlée. This dish features homemade shokupan, a Japanese milk bread caramelized with Japanese brown sugar, served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a light, airy crème anglaise espuma, making it perfect for those with a sweet tooth.
Nama Yoso, which opened in September 2023, offers a selection of classic Japanese dishes with Othman’s signature twist. With locations already in Jumeirah, Dubai Hills, and Time Out Market Dubai, Othman’s latest venture now allows residents in Mirdif, Warqa, and Al Khawaneej to experience his unconventional cuisine.
