Vivo is set to launch its latest smartphone the Vivo Y300 GT in China on May 9 at 10am local time which is 7:30am IST. The smartphone has been teased with an elegant design and powerful specifications positioning it as a strong contender in the mid-range category. The device will be available in sleek black and luxurious champagne gold finishes.
According to official promotional content released on Weibo the Vivo Y300 GT could be a revamped version of the iQOO Z10 Turbo series which debuted recently. The design features a “squircle” shaped camera module housing two sensors and a circular LED flash on the top-left corner of the rear panel. The phone has its power and volume buttons placed on the right side for easy accessibility.
The display of the Vivo Y300 GT is expected to be a flat AMOLED panel measuring 6.78 inches with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. It also includes SGS Low Blue Light and Low Flicker certifications to enhance eye comfort. The front design includes ultra-thin bezels a slightly thicker chin and a centrally placed hole-punch camera cutout.
Under the hood the smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 processor paired with a massive 7620mAh battery. The handset supports 90W wired fast charging which ensures minimal downtime for users on the go. These features combined suggest a focus on long-lasting performance and multimedia experience.
