The Italian cinema academy has announced that the Dune and A Complete Unknown star will be presented with the honorary David award for his outstanding contribution to international cinema.
The prestigious award recognizing “cinematic excellence” will be given during the ceremony held in Rome where Chalamet will be celebrated for his unique blend of European roots and American artistry. Known for his unconventional roles and influential presence in the industry the actor has become a symbol of both critical acclaim and global appeal.
Italian cinema academy president Piera Detassis described Chalamet as one of the most unpredictable and talented figures in modern cinema.
