Vivo is preparing to introduce its latest S30 smartphone lineup in China by the end of May featuring two exciting models — the base Vivo S30 and a more compact Vivo S30 Pro Mini. The upcoming Vivo S30 Pro Mini is confirmed to feature a 6.31-inch flat display matching the screen size of the Vivo X200 Pro Mini which debuted in October 2024. Meanwhile the standard Vivo S30 model will sport a slightly larger 6.67-inch flat display.
Vivo’s Product Vice President Ouyang Weifeng officially confirmed the launch timeline and specifications through a post on Chinese social media platform Weibo. Both the Vivo S30 and the S30 Pro Mini will come equipped with large 6500mAh batteries offering extended usage. Accompanying the announcement was an image showcasing the display panels of both models revealing flat screens narrow bezels and center-aligned punch-hole cutouts for the front cameras. Both devices will have the power and volume buttons placed on the right-hand side.
Weifeng also shared a side-profile comparison image highlighting the slim design of the Vivo S30 Pro Mini next to the iPhone 16 Pro Max. The Vivo handset appears slimmer and sleeker with a light blue finish and a slightly raised rear camera setup.
In addition to the official confirmation tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed that the Vivo S30 Pro Mini will support both wireless charging and 100W wired fast charging. It is also expected to be powered by a high-performance sub-flagship processor delivering fast performance and efficient multitasking. The rear camera setup may feature a powerful 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto sensor providing enhanced zoom capabilities and improved photography.
