Realme is gearing up to launch the highly anticipated GT 7 series in India later this month, and fans have even more reason to be excited. Alongside the standard Realme GT 7 model, the smartphone maker has officially confirmed the arrival of a special Realme GT 7 Dream Edition, scheduled to launch on May 27 at 1:30 PM IST. This unique edition is expected to arrive with distinct visual elements and thematic enhancements, distinguishing it from the standard variant while likely retaining identical internal specifications.
Announced via Realme India’s official X (formerly Twitter) handle, the GT 7 Dream Edition teaser showcases a car under wraps, hinting at a Formula 1 racing-inspired design. While the full look of the smartphone remains under wraps, it is expected to feature custom UI themes, racing-style aesthetics, and exclusive packaging to make it stand out. Just like Realme’s previous special editions, the Dream Edition may offer premium customizations without altering the core specifications of the GT 7.
Realme GT 7 will be available in IceSense Blue and IceSense Black, featuring a powerful 7,000mAh battery supported by 120W fast wired charging, ensuring long-lasting usage and quick recharges. Under the hood, the GT 7 is confirmed to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset, delivering flagship-level performance.
According to leaks, the Realme GT 7 might offer a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPS AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 6000 nits peak brightness, aimed at providing a top-tier visual experience. The camera setup could include a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultrawide lens, catering to diverse photography needs.
While the company hasn’t revealed the official pricing for the Indian market, earlier leaks suggest that the Realme GT 7 could be priced around EUR 799 (approximately ₹77,000) for the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage variant.
The launch event on May 27 will be streamed online, and the devices will be available for purchase through Amazon India shortly after. With the launch of the Realme GT 7 and Dream Edition, the brand aims to strengthen its position in the premium segment of the Indian smartphone market.
