But with Manchester United you look and say they’re not really good at anything.” He pointed out that even the fans’ reactions have changed drastically over time. “The fans in the stadium tonight weren’t angry. It’s more like they’ve accepted the situation and that’s a sad reality.”
The veteran pundit who once captained the club with fierce pride also reflected on the emotional toll it’s taking on supporters. “I think Manchester United fans are driving back tonight thinking ‘That’s exactly what we expected.’ And that’s just heartbreaking as someone who once wore the shirt,” Keane added.
