Infinix XPad GT Set to Launch on May 21 With 8 Speaker Sound System 13-Inch 144Hz Display and 10000mAh Battery

Date:

Infinix is gearing up to unveil its latest gaming-centric tablet, the Infinix XPad GT, on May 21, alongside the anticipated GT 30 Pro smartphone. As part of its GT-series lineup, this tablet brings a fusion of immersive visuals, robust performance, and cinematic audio—positioning itself as a budget-friendly yet powerful Android device.

A teaser shared by Infinix offers a sneak peek at the XPad GT’s design and confirms several of its core specifications. The tablet boasts a 13-inch 2.8K resolution display with an ultra-smooth 144Hz refresh rate, promising fluid graphics and responsive visuals ideal for gaming and multimedia experiences. While the touch sampling rate hasn’t been detailed, expectations are high for a snappy and fluid interface.

Powering the device is the Snapdragon 888 chipset, Qualcomm’s flagship processor from 2020, built on a 5nm architecture. Although slightly dated, the chipset still delivers strong performance with clock speeds up to 2.8GHz, making it more than capable for everyday tasks and heavy gaming sessions. To manage heat during intense usage, the XPad GT comes equipped with a vapour chamber cooling system.

Audio is a standout feature of this tablet. The XPad GT integrates an 8-speaker setup, complemented by DTS support for immersive, high-quality sound—tailored for gamers and streamers alike. Whether you’re watching movies or deep into battle royale gameplay, the audio system is designed to elevate your experience.

Battery life is also a strong suit. The tablet is backed by a massive 10000mAh battery with support for 33W wired fast charging, ensuring long usage hours and quick top-ups. The tablet is expected to arrive with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, catering to users who require ample space and swift multitasking performance.

Infinix is also anticipated to unveil other tech products at the launch event, including a new pair of TWS (truly wireless stereo) earbuds, aligning with the brand’s gaming and multimedia ecosystem.

The Infinix XPad GT appears to be a feature-packed tablet designed for users seeking a premium experience at a more accessible price point. With powerful internals, top-tier audio, and an expansive high-refresh display, it could offer tough competition in the budget tablet market.
