The OnePlus Pad 2, set to launch globally on July 16 at the OnePlus Summer Launch Event in Milan, Italy, is generating buzz with its impressive leaked specifications. Expected to debut alongside the OnePlus Nord 4, Watch 2R, and Nord Buds 3 Pro, the OnePlus Pad 2 is rumored to be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Pad Pro, which was launched in China earlier this year.
According to tipster Ishan Agarwal, the OnePlus Pad 2 will feature a 12.1-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 3,000 x 2,120 pixels, a refresh rate of 144Hz, and a peak brightness of 900 nits. Additionally, the tablet is expected to support Dolby Vision, enhancing the viewing experience.
Under the hood, the OnePlus Pad 2 is anticipated to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. It may come in two configurations: 8GB of RAM with 128GB of storage and 12GB of RAM with 256GB of storage. The tablet is also tipped to include six speakers, promising an immersive audio experience.
Photography enthusiasts might appreciate the 13-megapixel rear camera and the 8-megapixel front camera, which are expected to be part of the OnePlus Pad 2’s features. The device is likely to be backed by a 9,500mAh battery, supporting 67W wired SuperVOOC charging for fast recharges.
The OnePlus Pad 2 will not only be launched globally but is also expected to make its way to the Indian market. To complement the tablet, OnePlus is anticipated to introduce accessories such as the OnePlus Stylo 2, a Smart Keyboard, and a Folio Case.
