The eagerly anticipated CMF Phone 1 by Nothing has made its debut in India, featuring an innovative design with interchangeable back covers and powerful specifications. The CMF Phone 1 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 5G SoC and boasts a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate.
Released on July 8, the CMF Phone 1 comes in two variants: the base model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, priced at Rs. 15,999, and an 8GB + 128GB variant priced at Rs. 17,999. Available in Black, Blue, Light Green, and Orange, the smartphone will be on sale starting July 12 via Flipkart and the CMF India website. As an introductory offer, the base model can be purchased at Rs. 14,999 and the higher-end model at Rs. 16,999, along with special bank offers.
The CMF Phone 1 features a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup and a 16-megapixel front camera. It runs on Android 14-based Nothing OS 2.6 and is guaranteed to receive two years of major Android updates and three years of security patches. The device is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging and 5W reverse wired charging, promising up to two days of battery life on a single charge.
In addition to its powerful hardware, the CMF Phone 1 supports up to 256GB of internal storage, expandable up to 2TB. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and a USB Type-C port. The phone also features an optical in-display fingerprint sensor and an IP52 rating for dust and splash resistance.
The phone’s interchangeable covers come in various colors, materials, and finishes, allowing users to personalize their devices. The Blue and Orange variants feature vegan leather, slightly increasing the device’s weight. Accessories such as cases, stands, lanyards, and card cases are available to enhance the user experience.
The CMF Phone 1 measures 164x8x77mm and weighs 197g, with the vegan leather variant weighing 202g and having a 9mm thickness. The first 100 customers purchasing the phone at Lulu Mall in Bengaluru on July 9 will receive free CMF Buds as part of a special promotion.
