Roger Federer has fully embraced his inner ‘Swiftie’! The retired tennis icon attended Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concert in Zurich, Switzerland, with his wife, Mirka, and their four children. After the concert, Roger shared a selfie on Instagram featuring himself and Taylor Swift smiling together backstage.
The selfie captures both stars beaming, with Roger captioning the post, “In my Swiftie era,” accompanied by butterfly, red heart, snake, and clock emojis. The photo appears to have been taken backstage after the show, with Roger sporting a VIP pass and Taylor dazzling in a glittering blue bodysuit from her performance.
Federer attended the concert with his wife Mirka and their children, twin daughters Myla and Charlene, and twin sons Leo and Lenny. Fans of the tennis legend shared additional photos from the concert on social media. In one photo, Roger is seen wearing a collection of friendship bracelets inscribed with song titles like “Anti-Hero” and “Champagne Problems.” He also posted a picture with Roman Josi and was photographed accepting friendship bracelets from fans at the concert.
Roger has been planning to attend Taylor Swift’s concert for several years. In a 2022 interview with People following his retirement, he mentioned, “We went to a lot of concerts last year. I didn’t sing, I just played a little shaker thing. But we also saw [Bruce] Springsteen twice, and Elton John. This summer, Taylor Swift is coming to Switzerland, so of course, we’ll go to that, and ACDC too.”
A new documentary on Roger Federer, titled “Twelve Final Days,” detailing his decision to retire, was recently released on Prime Video.
