The Xiaomi 17T Pro has appeared on the IMEI database, hinting at an early 2026 launch for the next-generation T-series smartphones. Model numbers 2602EPTC0G and 2602EPTC0R suggest that Xiaomi may release the device as early as February 2026, breaking from its usual September release schedule for the T-series.
Following the September launches of the Xiaomi 15T series and Xiaomi 14T series, speculation about the Xiaomi 17T lineup has been increasing online. Reports indicate that the new T-series devices will skip the 16T name, moving directly to Xiaomi 17T and 17T Pro, with codenames ‘chagall’ and ‘warhol’. While it is not confirmed which codename belongs to which model, the standard 17T is expected to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset, and the 17T Pro may sport the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor.
The previous Xiaomi 15T series came equipped with MediaTek Dimensity chipsets, 5,500mAh batteries, and triple rear camera setups with Leica branding. The Pro variant offered 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, while the standard model supported 67W wired charging. Both phones ran Xiaomi HyperOS 2, had IP68 ratings for water and dust resistance, and featured advanced thermal management with the 3D IceLoop System.
The Xiaomi 17T Pro is expected to bring similar high-end specifications and improvements, including enhanced cameras, larger storage options, and upgraded processing power. The IMEI listing confirms the model’s official name and hints at a shift in Xiaomi’s T-series launch timeline, possibly setting the stage for an earlier debut than its predecessors.
