Samsung has officially launched the Samsung W26, its newest foldable smartphone, in China. Based on the Galaxy Z Fold 7 design, the W26 brings an 8-inch inner foldable AMOLED display and a 6.5-inch cover screen, delivering a premium multitasking and media experience. The device runs on a custom Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor, paired with 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage, offering robust performance for power users.
Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the 200-megapixel primary camera, along with a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera, while selfies and video calls are handled by dual 10-megapixel front cameras on the inner and cover displays. The W26 also supports direct satellite connectivity via China’s Tiantong system, enabling emergency calls and messages even without cellular coverage.
The Samsung W26 comes with a 4,400mAh battery with 25W wired fast charging, Wi-Fi 7, 5G support, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The device features Samsung Armor Aluminum construction, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and runs Android 16-based One UI 8, equipped with Galaxy AI features including Smart Collection, Smart Drag and Drop, and Smart Password Manager.
Available in Dan Xihong Red and Gold and Xuan Yao Black and Gold, the W26 is priced at CNY 16,999 for the 16GB + 512GB variant and CNY 18,999 for the 16GB + 1TB variant, exclusively in China via Samsung’s official website.
