Al Qudra Cycling Track Closed Saturday for Hood To Coast Dubai Relay

Date:

Dubai’s iconic Al Qudra Cycling Track will be temporarily closed on Saturday January 10 from 6am to 6pm due to the first-ever Hood To Coast Dubai relay race. Teams of five runners with support vehicles will cover over 100 kilometres across the desert in this international relay format that has been successful in the USA China and Taiwan for the past 40 years.

Al Qudra Cycling Track is a weekend favourite for cyclists and was recognised with a Guinness World Record in 2022 as the longest continuous cycling path on the planet. The track offers stunning desert views opportunities to spot local wildlife including the Arabian oryx and is equipped with numerous resting stations.

At the centre of the track, The Last Exit hosts 20 food and drink outlets open 24 hours a day seven days a week. Cyclists planning to visit are encouraged to come on Sunday for a full experience or enjoy an early morning ride to catch one of the UAE’s most spectacular sunsets.
