Apple has introduced a new limited edition accessory created in collaboration with the Japanese fashion house Issey Miyake. The 3D knitted iPhone Pocket is designed as a stylish and functional carry option for an iPhone AirPods or other small essentials. Inspired by the idea of a single versatile piece of fabric the accessory blends craftsmanship minimalism and modern functionality. Its ribbed texture stretches to securely hold an iPhone while partially revealing the screen giving it a unique aesthetic that reimagines everyday device carrying.
The iPhone Pocket arrives in two versions. The short strap variant is priced at USD 149.95 and comes in eight colours including lemon mandarin purple pink peacock sapphire cinnamon and black. A longer crossbody version is also available for USD 229.95 offered in sapphire cinnamon and black. Both versions are compatible with all iPhone models and are crafted in Japan using a durable yet flexible 3D knit structure.
Availability begins on Friday November 14 across select markets including the US UK France Italy Japan South Korea Singapore Greater China and more through Apple Stores and Apple’s official site. The accessory can be carried by hand worn on the body or attached to bags offering versatility for different daily needs. The design takes inspiration from Issey Miyake’s signature pleated textures while reflecting Apple’s focus on simplicity and refined materials. According to the design teams the iPhone Pocket highlights individuality everyday convenience and the joy of personal expression through technology.
